Sam Hunt

Such a pleasure spending the day at Sam's home in Kaipara, where he plied us with red wine, Bob Dylan playing in the background. He relayed poems that popped into his head as we discussed his vision for the book. A man with such an eccentric life deserves a cover full of personality. I hand drew 'Sam Hunt' and chose the typeface McCahon designed by Luke Wood to compliment this.
